Elizabeth Paulet (born around 1533 – died 4 November 1576) was an important English lady from a noble family. Her father was John Paulet, 2nd Marquess of Winchester, who lived in Basing, Hampshire. Her mother was Elizabeth Willoughby.

Elizabeth Paulet was married two times during her life.
First Marriage and Children
Her first marriage was around November 28, 1545, to Sir William Courtenay. He was born around 1529 and passed away on September 26, 1557. William was the son of George Courtenay from Powderham, Devon.
Elizabeth and William had a son and a daughter:
- Sir William Courtenay (born June 1553 – died June 24, 1630). He married three times. His first wife was Elizabeth Manners. His second wife was Elizabeth Sydenham, who was also the widow of the famous explorer Sir Francis Drake. His third wife was Jane Hill.
- Jane Courtenay. She married Sir Nicholas Parker around January 20, 1573.
Sir William Courtenay died on September 29, 1557. This was shortly after the Battle of St. Quentin in Picardy, France. His son and heir, also named William, was only four years old at the time.
Second Marriage
After Sir William Courtenay passed away, Elizabeth married again. Her second husband was Sir Henry Ughtred. They married sometime after 1557. Henry was born around 1533 and died in 1599.
Henry's parents were Sir Anthony Ughtred, who was the Governor of Jersey, and Elizabeth Seymour. Elizabeth Seymour was the daughter of Sir John Seymour from Wulfhall in Wiltshire.
Death and Burial
Elizabeth Paulet died on November 4, 1576. She was buried at St. Mary's Church in Basing, Hampshire. After Elizabeth's death, Henry Ughtred married again, but we do not know who his second wife was. He passed away in Limerick, Ireland, in June 1599.
