Elizabeth "Ebee" Nicole Price (born May 28, 1996) is a former American gymnast. She was an alternate for the 2012 Summer Olympics gymnastics team. Ebee also won the 2014 American Cup and the 2013-2014 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup All-Around Series.

She was part of the U.S. Junior National Gymnastics Team from 2010 to 2012. Then, she joined the US Senior National Team from 2012 to 2014. She stopped competing in elite gymnastics in April 2014.

In 2014, Ebee joined the Stanford University women's gymnastics team. She competed in her first college event on January 4, 2015. She won two weekly awards: Pac-12 Freshman/Newcomer of the Week and Specialist of the Week. At the 2015 Pac-12 Conference Championships, she tied for the uneven bars title. She also tied for third on vault. Price was named Pac-12 Specialist of the Year. She finished the season as the 2015 NCAA national vault champion. She was also a three-time first-team All-American.

About Elizabeth Price

Elizabeth Nicole Price was born on May 28, 1996. Her hometown is Plainfield, New Jersey. Her parents are David and Diane Price. She has two younger brothers, Ethan and Elijah.

Ebee started gymnastics when she was three years old. Her parents wanted her to have an activity for her energy. She was homeschooled, which helped her focus on gymnastics training. She studied through an online Pennsylvania charter school and later Bridgeway Academy.

In 2011, Price broke her big toe after a competition in Italy. She needed surgery to fix it. Price signed up to attend Stanford University. She joined the Stanford team in the fall of 2014. As of 2025, Price is studying for a Master's degree in design engineering at Harvard University.

Junior Gymnastics Career

Elizabeth Price started competing in junior gymnastics events. She showed great skill, especially on vault.

2008: Early Competitions

Price competed in the junior division of the 2008 US Classics. She placed 20th overall. Her best event was vault, where she ranked 12th. She also competed at the US Nationals. There, she finished 27th all-around.

2009: Winning Titles

In 2009, Price competed in several invitationals. She won the all-around title at her gym's Parkette Invitational. She also won first place on vault at the Maryland Classics. Later, she won the all-around title at the International Gymnix Open Competition in Montreal. She scored highest on vault and floor.

2010: Joining the National Team

In 2010, Price earned junior elite status again. She won first place on vault and the all-around at the Bieger's National Elite qualifier. She then competed at the US Covergirl Classic in Chicago. She placed 7th on vault and 15th overall. These results qualified her for the Visa Championships in Hartford, Connecticut. She finished 13th all-around. 2011: International Experience

Price competed at her hometown gym's Parkette Invitational again. She won first place in the all-around. She also won on balance beam, uneven bars, and vault. In March, Price was chosen to represent the US at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy. The US team won first place. Price personally placed third on vault. She was seventh in the all-around. After this competition, she broke her big toe and needed surgery.

She recovered quickly and competed in the 2011 CoverGirl Classic. She only competed on two events to protect her toe. She tied for third place on the uneven bars. She qualified for the Visa Championships for the third time. She finished eleventh in the all-around. She was named to the US Junior Nationals team for the second year in a row.

Senior Gymnastics Career

In 2012, Elizabeth Price began her senior international elite career.

2012: Olympic Alternate

Price started her senior year by scoring a perfect 10 on vault at the Parkette Invitational. She won first place on almost every event. In March, Price represented the United States at the City of Jesolo Trophy in Italy again. The team won first place. Individually, she placed second on vault and fifth in the all-around.

In May, Price competed at the Secret US Classic in Chicago, Illinois. She placed second on vault and fifth in the all-around. These scores helped her qualify for the Visa Championships. In June, Price competed at the Visa Championships in St.Louis, Missouri. She placed fifth all-around. After this, Price was invited to the 2012 US Olympic Trials.

In July, Price competed at the 2012 Olympic Trials. She placed fourth all-around. Price was named as a team alternate for the USA Olympic Gymnastics Team. She traveled to London with the team.

2013: Dealing with Injuries

Price was supposed to compete at the 2013 American Cup. However, she had to withdraw because of a strained hip muscle. She wanted to be healthy for future competitions. Price started training again in April 2013. Soon after, she injured her other hip. Because of these injuries, she could not compete in many events.

In August, Price competed at the 2013 P&G Championships. She only competed on vault and uneven bars due to her injuries. She finished eighth on uneven bars. After the championships, Price was named to the USA Senior National Team. She was also an alternate for the 2013 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

2014: American Cup Champion

In January 2014, Price was announced to compete at the 2014 American Cup. She won the event with a score of 59.966. She finished ahead of her teammate Brenna Dowell. She then won the all-around at the 2014 Pacific Rim Gymnastics Championships. She was just ahead of her teammate Kyla Ross.

In April 2014, Price announced she was retiring from elite gymnastics. She left the U.S. National Team. Her reason was to attend Stanford University in the fall of 2014. She planned to compete in NCAA gymnastics for Stanford.

World Rankings

In the 2012–13 season, Price was ranked 2nd in the All-Around World Rankings. In 2014, she was ranked number 1 in the FIG World Rankings for the All-Around.

College Gymnastics Career

On November 13, 2013, Price signed to join Stanford University's gymnastics program. In April 2014, she confirmed she would start school in the 2014–15 academic year.

2015: Freshman Year Success

Price started her college career strong. On January 4, 2015, she scored a 9.95 on vault. On January 26, 2015, she scored a perfect 10 on vault against Oregon State. She had a broken foot during the off-season. This limited her training and kept her from competing in the all-around early on. She added uneven bars to her events on January 9, 2015. She scored a 9.925.

She had a shoulder injury on January 31, 2015. This kept her out of the bars lineup until the Pac-12 Championships. She competed on floor exercise for the first time on March 2, 2015. She scored a 9.975. Overall, Price won 11 events out of 14 performances. She scored 9.925 or higher in 12 of her 14 routines. This included her perfect 10 on vault. She also won seven individual events in a row at the start of her college career. She earned two Pac-12 weekly awards.

At the Pac-12 Championships on March 21, 2015, she helped Stanford finish third. She scored 9.95 on vault and 9.95 on uneven bars. She tied for first place on uneven bars. She was named Pac-12 Specialist of the Year for 2015.

At the West Virginia Regional Championships on April 4, 2015, she scored 9.925 on vault. This helped Stanford qualify for the NCAA National Championships. At the 2015 NCAA National Championships, she helped her team qualify for the Super Six. She scored 9.95 on vault and uneven bars, and 9.85 on floor. She qualified for the individual event finals on vault and uneven bars.

At the Super Six competition on April 18, 2015, Price helped Stanford finish fifth. She competed in the All-Around for the first time all season. She scored 39.675. At the event finals on April 19, 2015, she won the NCAA vault title. She tied for 5th on uneven bars. Price finished the season as a three-time All-American.
