Elizabeth Despenser (died 10 April or 11 April 1408) was an important English noblewoman. She lived during the late 1300s and early 1400s. Elizabeth was a member of the powerful Le Despenser family. She became a Baroness through her marriages.

Elizabeth was the daughter of Sir Edward le Despencer, 1st Baron le Despencer. Her mother was Lady Elizabeth Burghersh. Lady Elizabeth was the daughter of Bartholomew de Burghersh, 2nd Baron Burghersh.

Elizabeth's First Marriage

Elizabeth first married Sir John FitzAlan, 2nd Baron Arundel. He was a Baron, which meant he was a very important nobleman. Together, they had four children.

Their children were:

Sir John de Arundel died on August 14, 1390. He was buried at Missenden Abbey in Buckinghamshire.

Her Second Marriage

After Sir John died, Elizabeth married again. Her second husband was William la Zouche, 3rd Baron Zouche of Haryngworth. They married sometime after April 28, 1393. This was William's second marriage.

Elizabeth and William did not have any children together. William la Zouche passed away on May 13, 1396. Elizabeth's will, which is a legal document about her wishes after death, asked to be buried at Tewkesbury Abbey in Gloucestershire.
