Elizabethville is a small town, also called a borough, located in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in the United States. As of the 2020 census, about 1,352 people lived there. It is part of the larger Harrisburg metropolitan area, which is a group of cities and towns around Harrisburg.

History of Elizabethville
Elizabethville was first settled in 1817. It was named after the wife of the person who originally owned the land. A post office has been serving the town since 1826. The borough officially became a town in 1893.
Geography and Location
Elizabethville is found in the northern part of Dauphin County. It sits right at the bottom of Berry Mountain.
How to Get Around Elizabethville
U.S. Route 209 goes through the borough. This road can take you about 14 miles (23 km) east to Tower City. If you go west, it's about 8 miles (13 km) to Millersburg, which is on the Susquehanna River.
Pennsylvania Route 225 also crosses US 209 in the middle of town. This route goes north about 4 miles (6 km) to Berrysburg. If you travel southwest, it's about 9 miles (14 km) to Halifax, also on the Susquehanna River. Harrisburg, the capital city of Pennsylvania, is about 26 miles (42 km) south using PA 225.
