Emilio Buale Coka, born on November 26, 1972, is an actor from Spain. He was born in Equatorial Guinea. Many people know him for his role as Baharat in the science fiction movie The Platform, which came out in 2019.

Emilio Buale's Early Life and Acting Career
Emilio Buale was born in Equatorial Guinea. His family belongs to the Bubi people. When he was six years old, he moved to Spain with his parents and brothers.
Emilio did not plan to become an actor at first. In 1995, a casting director named Paco Pino discovered him. They were both waiting at a subway station in Madrid. Paco Pino needed a Black actor for a main role. This role was Ombasi in the movie Imanol Uribe's Bwana (1996).
Before this, Emilio was studying to become a construction engineer. He also worked as a fireman. He accepted the offer to act. Two weeks later, he traveled to Almería to film the movie. Emilio Buale made his acting debut in Bwana. He worked alongside famous Spanish actors Andrés Pajares and María Barranco.
After his first movie, Emilio Buale continued to get acting jobs. He worked in films, TV shows, and especially in theatre. For a few years, he was part of the National Classical Theater Company of Spain. He performed in many stage plays. These included "La entretenida" and "Amar después de la muerte."
Personal Life and Other Work
Emilio Buale is a polyglot. This means he can speak many languages fluently. He speaks Spanish, English, French, and Bube.
He still works as a fireman in Madrid. Interestingly, he has played a fireman in some of his acting roles.
