Emilio Damián Martínez (born on April 10, 1981, in Concepción) is a former professional football (soccer) player from Paraguay. He was known for playing as a right back, which is a defensive position on the field. Martínez played for many different clubs during his career, and he also represented his country, Paraguay, in international matches. His last team was Club Sport Colombia in Paraguay.

Emilio Martínez was a very important player for the Paraguay national team. He played for the Paraguay Under-23 team, which is a team for younger players.

Olympic Success

Martínez was part of the Paraguay team that won a silver medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. This was a huge achievement for his country! The team played very well throughout the tournament.
