Emily Fox is an amazing American athlete, born on April 23, 1987. She is known for being a talented basketball player and a former world record holder in a cool sport called sport stacking.

Sport stacking is a super fast sport where you stack and unstack special cups in specific patterns. Emily was incredibly quick! In April 2002, she set a world record in the "cycle" stack, finishing in just 7.43 seconds. She also set a record in the "3-6-3" stack with a time of 2.72 seconds. While her records were later broken by other speedy stackers, Emily was a true pioneer in the sport. She even showed off her amazing skills on famous TV shows like The Ellen DeGeneres Show and The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.

Emily grew up in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Her dad, Bob Fox, is actually the person who started Speed Stacks, the company that makes the cups for sport stacking! Emily's two brothers, Kit and Brennan, are also very good at sport stacking.

Besides stacking, Emily was a fantastic basketball player. She played in high school at ThunderRidge High School and then in college for the University of Minnesota. In her final year of high school, her team was ranked #7 nationally, and Emily was named a Parade Magazine high school All-American. In college, she averaged 11.7 points per game. In 2009, she was even drafted by the Minnesota Lynx to play professional basketball in the WNBA! Emily also helped the U.S. basketball team win a gold medal at the Pan American Games in 2007.

Emily Fox's Sport Stacking Achievements

Emily Fox was a top competitor in sport stacking for many years. She won several major tournaments and set world records. Here are some of her best results:

  • In 2002, she won the Rocky Mountain Championships in Colorado, setting a world record in the Cycle stack.
  • At the World Championships in 2003 and 2004, she won first place in the 3-6-3 stack for her age group.
  • In 2007, she continued to excel at the World Championships, winning first place in both the 3-6-3 and Cycle stacks in the Collegiate division.

Emily was a very successful basketball player. She played at a high level throughout her school years and even professionally.

Pan American Games Gold Medal

Emily was part of the United States women's basketball team that won a gold medal at the 2007 Pan American Games held in Brazil. This was a huge achievement, representing her country on an international stage!
