Emre Çolak, born on May 20, 1991, is a former professional football player from Turkey. He used to play as an attacking midfielder or a winger.
Emre played for Turkey's national youth teams at every level. He made his first appearance for the senior national team in 2012. This was during a FIFA World Cup qualifying match against Romania.

Starting with Galatasaray
Emre began his football journey at an amateur club called Atışalanıspor. He later trained with Beşiktaş for a few months. However, he decided to go back to his first club.
He kept playing very well at Atışalanıspor. Soon, Galatasaray, a big Turkish club, noticed him. Emre joined their Youth Academy when he was 13 years old.
Emre moved up through Galatasaray's youth teams. He joined the main team during the 2009–10 season. He scored two goals in his very first game for the senior team. This was a cup match against Denizli Belediyespor in January 2010.
He played his first league game for Galatasaray against Gaziantepspor. He came on as a substitute in the second half. Emre scored his first league goal on the last day of the 2009–10 season. This was in a game against Gençlerbirliği.
Emre started playing more often in the 2011-2012 season. He scored his first goals of that season against İstanbul Başakşehir. Galatasaray won that game 4–1. In January 2012, Emre scored another goal against Ankaragücü in a 4–0 victory.
In February 2012, Galatasaray extended his contract for two more years, until 2016.

Playing for Deportivo La Coruña
