Discover the Falls
This park is famous for its stunning waterfalls on the Englishman River. You can easily reach both the upper and lower falls by walking on short trails. These trails are open all year round. There are also bridges that let you get a great view of the rushing water.
The area at the bottom of the falls is a popular spot for swimming. Many people enjoy cooling off in the water there. If you visit at the right time of year, you might even see salmon swimming upstream. This is part of their amazing journey to lay eggs.

The park covers 97 hectares, which is about 240 acres. It's home to a mix of old and new forests. You'll see tall Douglas fir trees, cedars, hemlocks, and maple trees. These trees make the park a peaceful and green place to visit.
If you want to stay longer, the park has a campground with 107 sites. Most of these sites allow vehicles, and you can book them during the summer. There's also a large area for day visitors. This is perfect for picnics or just enjoying the outdoors.
The Park's Name
There's an old First Nations story about how the Englishman River got its name. The legend says that the skeleton of a white man was found near the falls a long time ago. This sad discovery led to the river and the falls being called "Englishman River Falls."
