Enrique María Repullés was a famous Spanish architect. He was born on October 30, 1845, and passed away on September 13, 1922, in Madrid. An architect is a person who designs buildings. Enrique Repullés created many important and beautiful structures across Spain.

He was also a member of a very special group called the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando. This group was like an important club for talented artists and architects in Spain. He worked alongside other great architects of his time, such as Narciso Pascual Colomer and Ricardo Velázquez Bosco.

Amazing Buildings in Madrid

Enrique Repullés designed many important buildings in Madrid, the capital city of Spain. One of his most famous creations is the Madrid Stock Exchange. This building has a grand, classic look, which is called neo-classical style.

He also designed the Iglesia de Santa Cristina (Church of Santa Cristina). This church is near a place called Puerta del Ángel and was built between 1904 and 1906. It features a unique style known as neo-mudéjar, which uses brickwork and decorative patterns inspired by old Spanish and Moorish designs.

Repullés also worked on projects around the Royal Palace. He helped improve areas like the Plaza de la Armería and the Campo del Moro gardens, making them even more beautiful.
