Erik Christopher Daniels, born on April 1, 1982, is a former professional basketball player from America. He played for teams like the Sacramento Kings in the NBA. He also played for the Fayetteville Patriots and the Erie BayHawks in the NBA D-League. Before turning pro, he played college basketball at the University of Kentucky.

College Basketball Career
After finishing high school at Princeton High School in Sharonville, Ohio, Erik Daniels went to the University of Kentucky. He played for the Kentucky Wildcats basketball team. During his junior and senior years, he became a regular player in the starting lineup.
Professional Basketball Journey
Erik Daniels was not chosen in the 2004 NBA draft. However, the Sacramento Kings signed him as a free agent. He played for the Kings during the 2004-05 NBA season. He had limited playing time, scoring 13 points and getting 18 rebounds in 21 games.
Playing in the D-League
The Kings released Erik Daniels on October 17, 2005. He then joined the NBA D-League team, the Fayetteville Patriots. In the 2006–2007 season, he played in Italy for Angelico Biella in the Serie A league.
In the summer of 2007, he signed with Lottomatica Roma for two seasons. Erik Daniels was chosen by the Erie BayHawks in the 2008 NBA D-League Draft. He was the 7th player picked in the first round.
On February 11, 2009, Erik Daniels made history for the BayHawks. He was the first player from the team to be chosen for the NBA D-League All-Star game. He was named an alternate player for the All-Star game's blue team.
International Teams and Championships
On March 19, 2010, Erik Daniels joined Hapoel Gilboa Galil Elyon. This team plays in the Israeli Basketball Super League. With this team, he helped them win the championship in 2010.
Later, on November 7, 2013, Erik returned to play in the Ukrainian Superleague. He signed a contract with the team BC Odesa. His career continued internationally. On November 29, 2014, he signed with an Argentinian team called Quimsa. Erik Daniels retired from professional basketball in 2015.
