Erik Todd Dellums is an American actor and narrator. He is famous for his deep and unique voice, which he has used for characters in popular video games and animated shows.
Many people know him as the voice of the radio DJ Three Dog in the video game Fallout 3. He also voiced the powerful characters Prince Arcann and Thexan in the Star Wars: The Old Republic game series. In the Netflix animated show The Dragon Prince, he provides the voice for the mysterious elf, Aaravos.

Early Life and Family
Erik Dellums was born in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. He later moved with his family to Washington, D.C.
His father was Ron Dellums, a well-known politician who served as a U.S. representative for California and later became the mayor of Oakland. His mother, Leola "Roscoe” Higgs Dellums, was a lawyer. Erik's sister, Piper Dellums, is an author.
In 1986, Erik graduated from Brown University with a degree in political science.
Acting and Voice Career
Erik Dellums began his acting career with small roles in movies directed by Spike Lee, such as She's Gotta Have It (1986) and Do the Right Thing (1989).
A Disney Channel Original Movie called The Color of Friendship (2000) was based on a true story from his childhood. It tells the story of his family hosting an exchange student from South Africa when the country was still under a system of racial segregation called apartheid. Erik Dellums even had a small part in the movie, playing himself as an adult.
Famous Roles on Television
Dellums has appeared in many popular TV shows. He played the memorable crime boss Luther Mahoney in the police drama Homicide: Life on the Street. He also had a role as a medical examiner in the show The Wire.
His voice work is also very popular. He was the voice of the scary spirit Koh the Face Stealer in the Nickelodeon series Avatar: The Last Airbender. He has also been the narrator for many science shows, including How the Universe Works and NASA's Unexplained Files.

Besides his famous role as Three Dog in Fallout 3, Dellums has lent his voice to other major video games.
