Erik Thomas von Detten (born October 3, 1982) is an American actor and singer. Many people know him from his roles in popular movies and TV shows. These include Escape to Witch Mountain, Brink!, and The Princess Diaries.
He is also famous for his voice work. He was the voice of the bully Sid Phillips in Toy Story. He also voiced the character Erwin Lawson in the animated TV show Recess and its movies.

Erik von Detten was born in San Diego, California. His mother, Susan, is a photographer, and his father is Volker von Detten. He grew up with three sisters, named Dolly, Britta, and Andrea, and a brother named Timothy. His family background includes German, English, and Russian Jewish heritage.
Acting Career
Erik started his acting career at a young age. He appeared in many movies and TV shows throughout the 1990s and 2000s.
First Big Roles
One of Erik's first major roles was on the TV show Days of Our Lives from 1992 to 1993. He was only 10 years old but played an important character in the show's story.
In 1995, he starred in the Disney movie Escape to Witch Mountain. He also appeared in the family movie Leave It to Beaver in 1997.
