Esnagi Lake is a large lake in the northern part of Algoma District, Ontario, Canada. It is shaped like a "V" lying on its side. This lake is part of the larger Great Lakes Basin system.
The lake is about 45 kilometers (28 miles) long and 5 kilometers (3 miles) wide. It sits 344 meters (1,129 feet) above sea level. Water flows into Esnagi Lake from the Magpie River and Tripoli Creek. Many other small streams also feed the lake. The Magpie River also flows out of the lake, eventually reaching Lake Superior.
Fishing and Fun
Esnagi Lake is a popular spot for fishing and outdoor adventures. It is known for its many types of fish. People come here to catch fish like:
