Ettrick is a small village in Trempealeau County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2020, about 525 people lived there. The village is surrounded by a larger area that is also called the Town of Ettrick.

History of Ettrick

The first post office in Ettrick opened in July 1860. It was originally named Armagh. However, a few months later, the first postmaster, John Cance, changed the name. He renamed it Ettrick after a famous hunting area in Scotland called Ettrick Forest.

Based on the census from 2010, there were 524 people living in Ettrick. These people lived in 231 different homes, and 145 of these were families. The village had about 748.6 people per square mile. There were 256 housing units in total.
