Eudora is a small community in DeSoto County, Mississippi, United States. It's about 25 miles south of Memphis, Tennessee. Eudora is known as a census-designated place, which means it's an area the government counts for population purposes. The main part of Eudora has been around the crossing of Mississippi Highway 301 and old Mississippi Highway 304 for many years.
Unlike some other areas nearby, Eudora hasn't grown a lot. Many places in DeSoto County have seen huge growth because people from Memphis are moving to the suburbs. Eudora's small growth, mostly new homes, is likely because it's close to the casino area at Robinsonville, which is about 10 miles to the west. Also, a new highway, I-69, opened in 2007. This makes it easier for people to travel to Memphis, which has also made Eudora a bit more popular. You can get to Eudora from I-69 using the Fogg Road and MS Highway 301 exits.
Eudora was first officially counted as a census-designated place in the 2020 Census. At that time, its population was 386 people.
