Fairholm (sometimes spelled Fairholme) is a lovely campground located in Clallam County, Washington, United States. It sits at the western end of Lake Crescent inside the beautiful Olympic National Park. Fairholm is a great spot for visitors, offering a general store, a cafe, and other buildings for park guests.

A Look Back: Fairholm's History

Fairholm was first settled around 1891 by a person named W.V. Wilson. The name "Fairholm" was given to the area by Caroline Jones.

It even had its own post office, which was also called "Fairholme." This post office operated from 1891 until 1902. George Mitchell was the very first postmaster there.

In the past, boats used to travel across Lake Crescent. This boat service connected Fairholm to another place called Piedmont, which was on the northeastern shore of the lake.
