Fairmeade is a small neighborhood located in St. Matthews, Kentucky. In the year 2000, about 264 people lived there. It's a quiet residential area that was once its own small city.
History of Fairmeade
Fairmeade used to be an independent city in Jefferson County, Kentucky. It became its own city on October 8, 1953. However, on September 1, 2000, it stopped being an independent city. Then, on January 8, 2001, Fairmeade officially became a part of St. Matthews.
