School History
Fairmont Middle and High School opened for students in the 1993-1994 school year. It was later renamed Fairmont Preparatory Academy. The school is built on land that used to be the Stanton estate. This estate included a beautiful house built in 1929. It was a hacienda-style house.
The Phillip Ackley Stanton House building is very old and important. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 21, 1980. This means it is a special place in history.
Class Sizes at Fairmont Prep
Fairmont Preparatory Academy has smaller class sizes. This means fewer students are in each classroom. For example, at its Anaheim, California campus, there are about 13 students for every teacher. This can help students get more attention.
