About Falcon Heights
Falcon Heights is a special type of neighborhood called a gated community. This means it has controlled entrances, often with fences around it, to help keep it private and safe.
A Home for Air Force Families
This community was first built by the United States government. It was made to provide homes for people serving in the United States Air Force. These Air Force members were stationed at a nearby base called Kingsley Field.
The community was built in 1958 and had 290 housing units. These are like apartments or houses where families could live.
How the Community is Managed
In 1997, a company from Klamath Falls bought the entire community. They then sold the homes to individual buyers.
Today, Falcon Heights is managed by the Falcon Heights Homeowners Association. This association is like a group of people who live in the community. They are elected to make decisions about the neighborhood. They help manage the 118-acre (48 ha) community, which is about the size of 90 football fields.
