The Fashion and Textile Museum is a cool museum in London, England. It's all about fashion and textiles, which are different kinds of fabrics.
This museum was started in 2003 by a famous designer named Zandra Rhodes. It's located in Bermondsey, a part of London. A famous Mexican architect, Ricardo Legorreta, designed its unique building.
The Museum Building
The museum building used to be an old warehouse. It was completely changed by Mexican architect Ricardo Legorreta. He worked with Zandra Rhodes to make it special. This was the only building Legorreta ever designed in Europe!
Inside, there are cool spaces for showing off fashion and textiles. There's also a studio where people can work with fabrics and a printing workshop. The building itself is a big attraction because of its super bright colors! It's painted hot pink, burnt orange, yellow, and bright blue. These colors make it stand out and look really fun.
