Finn Rock is a small, unincorporated community located in Lane County, Oregon, United States. It sits right along Oregon Route 126 and the beautiful McKenzie River. You can find Finn Rock between the communities of Nimrod and Blue River, deep within the Willamette National Forest.
Finn Rock was once a busy place for logging, which means cutting down trees for wood. The community gets its name from a unique rock formation that looks a bit like a shark's fin. This rock is found on Route 126, close to where Finn Creek flows into the McKenzie River. Even though it looks like a fin, the rock was actually named after Benjamin Franklin Finn. He was one of the first settlers in the area.
