Firebreather is an American computer-animated TV movie. It is based on a Image Comics comic book series. The movie first aired on November 24, 2010, on Cartoon Network. It was directed by Peter Chung. The story was written by Phil Hester and Andy Kuhn. The movie features the voices of Jesse Head, Dana Delany, and Kevin Michael Richardson.

About Firebreather
This movie tells the story of Duncan, a unique teenager. He is half-human and half-Kaiju. Kaiju are giant, powerful monsters, like dragons. Duncan tries to fit in at a new school. But he also has to deal with his powerful Kaiju father, Belloc.
Duncan's New Life
The story begins sixteen years after a big war. This war was between humans and Kaiju. During the war, a human woman named Margaret and the Kaiju King, Belloc, fell in love. They had a son named Duncan.
Now, Duncan and his mom, Margaret, move to a new house. Duncan is getting ready for his first day at a new school. He worries about his orange skin. He also worries about his strange habit of eating coal! He fears people will think he is weird. He is also afraid of bullies.
At school, Duncan quickly likes a popular girl named Jenna. He also makes an enemy. This is Troy Adams, Jenna's ex-boyfriend. In science class, Duncan makes two new friends. They are Kenny and Isabel. Isabel loves Kaiju. She gets a crush on Duncan. This happens after he shows her a small, frog-like Kaiju.
Discovering His Powers
One evening, Troy's friends steal money from Jenna's locker. The money was for the school's Homecoming dance. The next day, Duncan meets "Blitz" Barnes. Blitz is a special agent working undercover as a gym teacher. Duncan defends Kenny from Troy during a dodgeball game.
After a fight with Troy, Blitz takes Duncan to a secret base. This happens when Blitz learns Duncan can breathe fire! Later, Blitz helps Duncan stay out of trouble at school. While cleaning up, Isabel tells Duncan about a party. Duncan decides to go, hoping to impress Jenna.
Family Secrets and Challenges
At the party, Duncan and Jenna start to become friends. But Jenna leaves suddenly. Isabel explains that Jenna's father passed away. Then, things get serious. Belloc, Duncan's Kaiju father, arrives looking for him. Duncan tells Isabel to run. But Belloc traps her. Duncan demands Belloc let her go. He then leads his father away, saving Isabel.
Belloc catches Duncan. He takes him to the Kaiju lair in the desert. Duncan learns that Belloc wants him to be the next "King of the Kaiju." Belloc thinks the human world has made Duncan weak. Belloc then shows Duncan to the other Kaiju. He throws Duncan into a lava pit. Duncan comes out in his Kaiju form, but then he faints.
Duncan wakes up in the desert. He finds his way to Kenny's trailer. Kenny knows Belloc is Duncan's father. He also gets jealous when he learns Isabel invited Duncan to the party. Duncan goes home. His mom tells him that moving and dealing with the special agents was to help him live a normal life.
Homecoming Chaos
Back at school, everyone treats Duncan like a celebrity. Isabel told them he "saved" them from Belloc. Duncan sees Jenna and asks her to Homecoming. She says yes! Later, Blitz takes Duncan to the desert. He wants Duncan to find the Kaiju lair. But they are attacked. Duncan fights a Kaiju. His father watches. This is a test for the Kaiju throne. Duncan almost kills the Kaiju but stops. Blitz arrives with more agents. They attack Belloc, who then surrenders.
That night, Duncan, Jenna, Kenny, Isabel, and Margaret go to the Homecoming dance. Duncan and Jenna dance. Isabel watches them. Kenny tries to get Isabel to dance with him. Troy and Jenna are chosen as Homecoming King and Queen. Then, Isabel dances with Duncan. Kenny gets jealous. He shouts that Isabel only likes Duncan because Belloc is his father. Jenna hears this. She backs away from Duncan and goes to Troy. Duncan storms out. As Isabel scolds Kenny, two more Kaiju appear. Their names are Abbadon and Astaroth.
A Hero Emerges
Abbadon and Astaroth start causing trouble. They put everyone at the dance in danger. Duncan returns to help. He changes into his Kaiju form. He fights the two Kaiju. His friends get to safety. Duncan leads the monsters away from town into the desert. Meanwhile, Margaret and Jenna fly a plane to get Belloc's help. Belloc breaks free and rushes to help Duncan.
Duncan climbs a cliff. Blitz is there and starts hitting Duncan. Abbadon and Astaroth reach them. They try to eat Blitz. Duncan jumps off the cliff to catch Blitz. As they fall, Duncan gets a new power: wings! He takes Blitz to a safe place. Then, he focuses on fighting. Duncan gets trapped during the battle. Margaret and Jenna arrive. They crash their jet into the Kaiju after safely ejecting. Belloc arrives. Duncan and Belloc fight together. Duncan does not want to kill the Kaiju. Instead, he causes an avalanche. The avalanche freezes Abbadon and Astaroth. Duncan and Belloc, who are fire-born, are safe.
Belloc allows himself to be captured again. He wants to stay close to Duncan. Jenna realizes Duncan left the crystal for her. She apologizes to Duncan for how she acted. Duncan then flies off with his new wings.
