Dante Roman Titus Basco (born August 29, 1975) is an American actor. He is famous for playing Rufio, the leader of the Lost Boys, in Steven Spielberg's movie Hook. He is also well-known for his voice acting roles. These include the main character Jake Long in American Dragon: Jake Long and Prince Zuko in Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Dante Basco has also voiced General Iroh II in The Legend of Korra. He was also Quoc Wong in The Proud Family and Scorpion in Ultimate Spider-Man.

Early Life and Beginnings
Dante Basco was born on August 29, 1975, in Pittsburg, California. His parents are from the Philippines. He grew up in Cerritos and Paramount, California. He has four brothers and sisters, including his brother Dion Basco, who is also an actor.
In the mid-1980s, Dante and his brothers formed a breakdancing group. They performed on the streets. He went to the Orange County High School of the Arts and finished in 1993. In 1998, Basco helped start Da Poetry Lounge. This is a place in Hollywood where people share slam poetry.
Acting Career Highlights
Dante Basco started his acting career with small roles on TV. His big break came in 1991. He played Rufio in Steven Spielberg's movie Hook. In this film, he acted alongside famous stars like Robin Williams and Dustin Hoffman.
In 2017, Basco helped make a short film called Bangarang. This film was about the character Rufio and was funded by fans. He also streams video games on Twitch.
