Nicole Sullivan (born April 21, 1970) is a talented American actress and comedian. She is well-known for her funny roles on TV shows and for lending her voice to many popular cartoon characters.
Nicole was a main cast member on the sketch comedy show MADtv for six years, from 1995 to 2001. She also played the character Holly Shumpert on the CBS sitcom The King of Queens for several seasons. You might also recognize her voice as Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyear of Star Command and the supervillain Shego from Kim Possible. She also voiced Marlene the Otter in The Penguins of Madagascar and Kara Danvers in DC Super Hero Girls.

Nicole Sullivan's Early Life
Nicole Sullivan was born in Manhattan, New York City, on April 21, 1970. When she was just 7 years old, she started taking dance classes. She even performed in plays both Off Broadway and on Broadway with a group called the First All-Children's Theatre.
In 1982, her family moved to a town called Middleburgh, New York. Her mother, Madonna Sullivan, was a businesswoman, and her father, Edward C. Sullivan, was a politician who worked in the New York State Assembly. Nicole finished high school in Middleburgh in 1987.
Nicole's Acting Career
Nicole Sullivan has had a long and successful career in acting, especially in comedy and voice acting.
Her Time on MADtv
Nicole was one of the first actors to join the cast of Fox's MADtv when it started in 1995. On the show, she created many memorable characters. One of her most famous was the "Vancome Lady," who was known for being a bit mean-spirited. She also played other characters like Amy, a reporter for X-News, and Diane Lawyer-Trabajo from News at 6.
Playing Holly Shumpert in The King of Queens
From 2001 to 2005, Nicole played the role of Holly Shumpert on the sitcom The King of Queens. She came back to the show for its final season in 2007. Holly's job on the show was a dog walker. The main characters, the Heffernans, hired her to take care of Carrie's father, Arthur, to make sure he got exercise and stayed out of trouble.
Voice Acting Adventures
Nicole Sullivan is very well-known for her voice acting work in many animated shows and movies. She was originally considered for the voice of Turanga Leela in Futurama, but the role eventually went to Katey Sagal.

Nicole's Personal Life
Nicole Sullivan is married to actor Jason Packham. They have two sons, who were born in May 2007 and August 2009.
Nicole is also known for winning the first season of Celebrity Poker Showdown. She donated her $100,000 prize to a charity called Alley Cat Allies, which helps cats.
She also appeared on an episode of the TV show It's Me or the Dog with her family and their pets. They had three cats and four mixed-breed dogs named Paco, Jackson, Donut, and Funzies.
