Shego's Personality
Shego is one of the most grown-up characters in the show. Unlike many other villains, she doesn't think she's the most important person ever. She also isn't obsessed with herself.
However, Shego can get annoyed and angry very quickly. This happens especially when she thinks someone is being silly or dumb. Her brother, Hego, once said she was a "cranky smart-mouth, prone to excessive violence". This means she's often grumpy, talks back, and likes to fight.
As a villain, Shego is good at her job. But she often seems bored and doesn't try to come up with her own evil plans. She likes to relax in Drakken's secret hideout. She reads villain magazines or sharpens her clawed gloves. She also enjoys visiting spa resorts. Shego usually helps other villains by fighting for them or sneaking into places.
Shego is one of the smartest villains. She prefers to use direct attacks, like physical force or threats. She doesn't like complicated gadgets or tricky plans. Other villains respect her because she's so good at being a sidekick. Some have even helped her escape from prison to get her help. But Shego doesn't think much of the other villains.
Even though she seems scary, Shego has a good side. She has shown concern for animals and didn't want to steal a wheelchair from a boy. She said it was a bad thing to do, even for villains like Drakken. But she usually forgets her worries if a plan starts to work. Shego has never actually killed anyone on the show. But she doesn't seem to care much about human life.
Shego's Appearance
Shego is a tall, athletic young woman. She has long black hair, a sharp jawline, and bright green eyes. She is about half a foot taller than Kim Possible. Her exact age isn't known, but she's thought to be in her early to mid-20s. She also went to college and studied child development.
When she was a child, a glowing, rainbow-colored comet hit her. Because of this, her skin has a light green color. Her main outfit is a green and black full-body suit. It has matching gloves and boots. The gloves have metal claws on the tips. She sometimes sharpens these claws. When Shego wears other clothes, they usually have the same green and black colors.
Shego's Powers and Abilities
Shego is skilled in many areas. She is especially good at sneaking into places and causing trouble. She has a lot of martial arts training. She is also very fit and agile, just like Kim Possible. Her metal claws on her gloves make her attacks even stronger. She sometimes uses her own sharp fingernails too.
Shego has a special superpower. She can create green, flame-like energy from her hands. She can use this energy to heat or melt things she touches. She can also shoot it as a powerful beam or a big blast. At first, Disney said her green flames were only for pushing things. But later, she was shown burning and melting things with them.
Originally, it was said that her gloves gave her these powers. But later in the show, it was revealed that her powers are real superpowers. She got them from the same rainbow-colored comet that gave her four brothers their powers.
Shego also seems to be super tough. She can survive big explosions and dangerous situations that would probably kill other characters. In the movie So the Drama, she was kicked into a live electrical tower. It shocked her and then fell on her. She only ended up with slightly torn clothes and messy hair.
Shego's Relationships
Kim Possible
Shego and Kim have a strong rivalry when they fight. Sometimes it's just about their jobs, but usually, they insult each other. As the show went on, their rivalry became more personal.
Shego often talks down to Kim, calling her "Kimmie" or "Princess." She also makes fun of Kim's looks and clothes. But Kim doesn't seem as bothered by Shego's insults as she is by Bonnie's. Kim's comebacks often work better against Shego. Over time, Shego has started to respect Kim as a rival and a fighter. She isn't happy when Kim easily ruins Drakken's plans.
Sometimes, Kim and Shego even get along. This happens especially when they are stuck in the same difficult situation. They might even have small, almost friendly conversations. Their relationship has grown more personal for Shego. In some cases, they have teamed up against common enemies. Shego has even saved Kim from other bad guys. She says that only she has the right to defeat Kim.
In the episode "Stop Team Go", it was shown that they could be great friends. This would happen if Shego wasn't so grumpy. Shego even hinted that she wanted to tell Kim something when she was good. In the final episode, "Graduation", Shego saves Kim. Kim playfully says, "See, you do care," and Shego doesn't deny it.
Dr. Drakken
Dr. Drakken is usually Shego's boss. She is known as his sidekick. They have worked together on most of their evil plans. But Shego rarely shows much concern for him. Drakken, however, likes to think of them as an "evil family." Their relationship is a mix of working together and getting annoyed with each other.
At the start of the show, Shego respected Drakken. But as the series went on, she became stronger and openly showed how much she disliked him. Eventually, Shego became the one in charge. She started threatening him with violence if he pushed her too far.
Shego is rarely surprised when Drakken's plans fail. She often scolds him for making plans that are too complicated or strange. On the few times his plans seem to work, she is pleasantly surprised. Even though Shego's patience with Drakken has decreased, she still works for him. She usually stays unless she wants a break or sees a better opportunity. She even gets upset when he tries to replace her with new sidekicks. Despite how badly she treats him, Shego seems to care for Drakken. The show's director, Steve Loter, confirmed that Drakken and Shego start a romantic relationship after the series finale.
Señor Senior, Junior
Junior is one of the few characters Shego respects. Señor Senior Sr. hired Shego to teach his son Junior how to be a better villain. The training started with problems, but Junior turned out to be a good student. Shego was also a good teacher. They work together on evil plans, but their relationship is more like a friendly teacher-student bond.
Shego is unusually cooperative and patient with Junior. He is one of the few people who can bring out her softer side. Junior also asked Shego for help when he made his own plan to impress his father. Shego willingly helped him. Together, they showed they could be a strong team, almost as good as Kim and Ron. Unlike Drakken, Shego has never hit or blasted Junior. This shows she trusts him.
Shego's Family: Team Go
Shego has four brothers: Hego, Mego, and twin brothers named Wego. All of them have unique superpowers, just like her. Hego called their powers a "Go-Team-Glow." Shego used to be part of a superhero team with them called Team Go.
It's not fully explained why she left the team and became evil. Two ideas are given: Hego thinks Shego started to like evil more as Team Go fought against it. Shego, however, suggests she left because her brothers were annoying and argued a lot.
Shego really dislikes her brothers' attitudes. She finds them clumsy, argumentative, and irritating. Their annoying relationship was part of why she left Team Go to become a villain. Her brothers, though, don't really understand that their sister is a villain. Hego calls her a "cranky smart mouth," but still thinks Shego is good deep down.
Shego was the brains and leader of Team Go. She helped them stay focused and organized as a superhero team. When she left, Team Go fell apart and stopped working together. When they briefly reunited in "Stop Team Go", they quickly became effective fighters again.
Even though Shego says she dislikes her siblings, it's hinted that she still loves them. Both Kim and Drakken have pointed this out.
Motor Ed
Shego first met Motor Ed in the episode "Steal Wheels." She found him very annoying because he was sexist and kept trying to flirt with her. Her attempts to get him to stop, even by attacking him with her energy blasts, only made him like her more.
When Motor Ed's mom found out he was in prison, she brought him to her son Drew (Dr. Drakken). She hoped Drakken could help him. Shego thought their plan to steal a boy's wheelchair was too cruel. She allowed the plan to happen but didn't help with the theft. She scolded them both for being especially mean or stupid.
In the episode "Car Alarm," Motor Ed broke Shego out of prison. He hoped she would help him with his new plan. She reluctantly agreed. Motor Ed turned a stolen rocket into a car that could go super fast and cause destruction. In the end, Shego found out she was just an "accessory." She then attacked him, and they both fell out of the rocket-car into a river. This ruined their own plans.
Other Versions of Shego
Shego's character and design have changed a few times for different stories and episodes.
The Supreme One

In the movie A Sitch In Time, a future version of Shego was shown. She was the only Kim Possible villain who successfully took over the world.
Shego used a magical idol called the Tempus Simia that could create portals through time. Following advice from her future self, she took over the world. She made smart financial and criminal investments. She also strategically separated Kim and Ron, which weakened Team Possible. This way, they couldn't stop Shego from getting the idol. She then dragged them into the future, leaving the world for her to rule.
Twenty years later, Shego, now called The Supreme One, made Middleton her capital city. She renamed it "Shegoton." She turned Club Banana into "Club Shego." She brainwashed people who disagreed with her in special facilities. Everyone, except a small group of resistance fighters, wore clothes like Shego's green and black costume.
This version of Shego was much crueler and more evil than her present self. She was also more skilled at crime. She used her helpers (other villains) to fight her enemies instead of doing it herself. She was good at giving orders, capturing all the rebels, Kim, Ron, and Rufus. But when she started listening to Drakken's silly tips about bragging, she got distracted. This allowed the heroes to destroy the time monkey, undoing all her victories and erasing her from history.
Miss Go (Good Shego)
In the Season 4 episode "Stop Team Go", Shego temporarily lost her grumpiness. This happened because of an improved version of Jack Hench's Attitudinator. An old enemy of Team Go, Electronique, used it. Electronique's plan was to turn all of Team Go evil. But since Shego was already evil, she became good instead.
Shego took on the name Miss Go. She used her child development degree to get a job as a substitute teacher at Middleton High School. She taught one of Kim's classes. As Miss Go, Shego was genuinely kind, caring, and even a bit silly. She loved shopping and romantic movies. She had a lot in common with Kim, and they quickly became close friends. Kim even said Miss Go was "like a big sister." Shego also caught the eye of another substitute teacher, Steve Barkin, and they had a short romance.
At the end of the episode, Ron accidentally turned Shego back to her original self. The Attitudinator was broken beyond repair. After this, Shego rejoined Drakken. He had spent the episode trying to open a pickle jar without her. Shego eventually opened the jar, very annoyed. Later, during the credits, Barkin tried to win her back. She thought about it at first, but as soon as he started to sing, she used the lair's defense system on him.
