Movie Story: So The Drama
Drakken's New Plan
The evil Dr. Drakken is working on a big plan to take over the world. Even his helper, Shego, doesn't fully understand it. Part of his plan involves stealing a new toy design from a Japanese inventor. He also creates special robots called synthodrones. Plus, he's studying how teenage girls live their lives.
Kim's Prom Dilemma
Meanwhile, Kim Possible realizes she has no one to go to junior prom with. Her best friend, Ron Stoppable, seems to be her only option. This makes Kim feel a bit sad. Then, Ron introduces Kim to Eric, a new student at school. Kim and Eric quickly start dating. Ron feels left out as Kim spends more time with Eric.
Mysterious Toys and Bueno Nacho
Ron also notices strange changes at Bueno Nacho, his favorite fast-food place. Soon, Bueno Nacho starts offering "Lil' Diablos" in their kids' meals. These are toy robot figures based on the stolen design. They become super popular all over the world. Kim sees that Ron is unhappy. She talks to him and promises her new relationship won't change their friendship.
The Diablos Attack
Kim and Eric go to prom together. Ron feels sad and confused about his feelings for Kim. He gets upset about Bueno Nacho again and calls to complain. It turns out Dr. Drakken is the new owner! Lars, the new Bueno Nacho manager and one of Drakken's helpers, activates the Diablo toys. The toys come to life and chase Ron and his pet, Rufus.
Ron rushes into the prom to warn Kim about the attacking toys. Kim contacts her tech expert, Wade. Wade confirms that the Diablos are made with technology from Kim's dad. Drakken then attacks Middleton. He turns the toys into huge, dangerous robots using a signal from Bueno Nacho.
Saving the World and a First Kiss
With help from her family, Kim and Ron destroy the signal. This stops the giant Diablos. Drakken then shows Kim that Shego has captured Eric. He demands Kim give up to save Eric. Kim puts on a new battle suit. She goes with Ron and Rufus to Drakken's hideout at Bueno Nacho headquarters.
Kim fights and beats Shego. She finds Eric, but he is actually a robot made by Drakken! Eric was created to distract Kim from Drakken's plans. He shocks Kim, and she and Ron are captured. Drakken then launches a worldwide attack with giant Diablo robots. Kim feels defeated, but Ron encourages her. He finally tells her how he feels about her, and Kim feels the same way.
Rufus helps them escape. They head to the roof of Bueno Nacho to destroy the tower controlling the robots. Shego and Eric try to stop them. Kim fires a special device at the tower. Eric catches it, but Rufus pops his foot. This makes Eric drop the device on the tower. All the robots shut down and return to their normal size. Drakken, Shego, and their helpers are arrested. Kim and Ron are heroes for saving the world! They go back to prom holding hands. Everyone cheers as they dance and share their first real kiss.
