John William DiMaggio (born September 4, 1968) is an American actor. He is famous for using his voice to bring many cartoon and video game characters to life! Some of his most well-known voice roles include Bender from Futurama, Jake the Dog from Adventure Time, and Marcus Fenix in the Gears of War video game series. He also voiced Dr. Drakken on Kim Possible, Hak Foo in Jackie Chan Adventures, and King Zøg on Disenchantment.

Early life
John DiMaggio grew up in North Plainfield, New Jersey. He went to North Plainfield High School and later studied at Rutgers University.
Career
DiMaggio is widely recognized for his unique voice work. He is especially known for playing Bender, a funny robot from the animated show Futurama. He also voiced Marcus Fenix in the popular Gears of War video games and Dr. Drakken in Kim Possible. Kids also know him as Jake the Dog from Adventure Time.
Before becoming a voice actor, DiMaggio was a comedian. He performed on stage as part of a comedy duo. He also acted in a few live-action roles, like playing Steve Ballmer in the movie Pirates of Silicon Valley.
In 2013, John DiMaggio helped create and narrate a documentary called I Know That Voice. This film explores the world of voice acting and how much work goes into it.
In 2022, when the show Futurama was set to return, there was a discussion about how much the voice actors would be paid. DiMaggio spoke up, asking for better pay for himself and the whole cast. He wanted to make sure voice actors were treated fairly. Many fans and other voice actors supported him. Even though he didn't get a pay raise, he decided to return to voice Bender. He felt that bringing attention to the issue of fair pay for voice actors was important and worthwhile.
