Firozpur district, also called Ferozepur district, is a district in the state of Punjab, India. It is one of the twenty-three districts in Punjab. The district covers an area of about 2,190 square kilometers.
Firozpur city is the main city and capital of the district. This city is famous for its ten historic gates. These gates include Amritsari Gate, Wansi Gate, and Delhi Gate.
