Early Life and Training
Fisayo Akinade was born in Liverpool, England. He spent four years of his childhood living in Nigeria. After that, he returned to the UK and grew up in the Fallowfield and Moss Side areas of Manchester.
When he was younger, Fisayo dreamed of becoming a gymnast. However, after an injury and the closure of his gymnastics club, he found a new passion. He started taking drama classes at the Contact Theatre and later joined their Young Actors Company. He also attended workshops at the Royal Exchange Theatre. Fisayo then went on to study acting at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
