The Flat Brook, also known as Flatbrook, is a stream in Sussex County, New Jersey, United States. It is about 11.6 miles (18.7 km) long. This stream is a tributary of the big Delaware River.

Before it meets the Little Flat Brook, this stream is called the Big Flat Brook. The area around the Flat Brook and its two main branches, the Little Flat Brook (12.7 miles long) and the Big Flat Brook (16.5 miles long), has a special name. It's known as the Walpack Valley. This valley is part of the historic Minisink region.

The famous Appalachian Trail also crosses through the land where the Flat Brook flows. This happens along Kittatinny Mountain. The Flat Brook finally flows into the Delaware River near a place called Walpack Bend. This spot is in the Flatbrookville part of Walpack Township.
