Fleming is a small village located in Ray County, Missouri. It is part of the larger Kansas City metropolitan area in the United States. In 2020, a count of the people living there, called a census, showed that 114 people called Fleming home.

History of Fleming
Fleming got its name from Alfred Walton Fleming. He was a businessperson who worked in the local mining industry. A post office was opened in Fleming in 1888. It helped people send and receive mail for many years. The post office stayed open until 1905.

Fleming is located in the state of Missouri. It is found within Ray County. The village covers a total area of about 0.54 square miles (1.40 square kilometers). All of this area is land. There are no large bodies of water within the village limits.
