The Story of Footville

Footville has an interesting past! It was first known as Bachelor's Grove. Later, the village got its current name from Ezra A. Foot. He was the first person to own the land where the town was built.

A post office was set up in Bachelor's Grove in 1846. Then, in 1855, its name was officially changed to Footville.
