Fordson Island is an island in the River Rouge. It is in Wayne County, in southeast Michigan. Its coordinates are 42°17′37″N 83°08′52″W / 42.29361°N 83.14778°W, and the United States Geological Survey gave its elevation as 574 ft (175 m) in 1980.
