Forest is a small village located in West Carroll Parish in northeastern Louisiana, United States. In 2020, about 304 people lived here.
One interesting fact about Forest is its former Police Chief, James Robert "Bob" Smith. He was the oldest elected official in Louisiana in 2017! Before becoming police chief in 1998, he worked for the United States Air Force for 30 years. He even worked for an oil company in Saudi Arabia before retiring to Forest.

One notable person who graduated from Forest High School is Vance McAllister. He served as a representative for Louisiana's 5th congressional district in the United States House of Representatives from 2013 to 2014.
