History of Fowler
Fowler was officially planned and mapped out in 1886. It got its name from George Fowler, who originally owned the land where the city was built.
The city became an important stop for shipping goods on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad. This helped Fowler grow by connecting it to other places.
