Francisca Ordega (born on October 19, 1993) is a professional footballer from Nigeria. She plays as a forward for CSKA Moscow in Russia.
Francisca also plays for the Nigeria women's national football team, known as the Super Falcons. She has played in big tournaments like the FIFA Women's World Cup and the African Women's Championship. She was even nominated for the best female African footballer award!

Playing Career
Club Teams
Bayelsa Queens
Francisca Ordega started her football journey at a young age. She played for the youth team of Bayelsa Queens in Nigeria. By 2008, she joined their main professional team.
Rivers Angels
In 2011, Francisca moved to Rivers Angels. This club was one of the top teams in the Nigerian Women's Championship.
WFC Rossiyanka
In 2012, Francisca left Nigeria to play for Rossiyanka. This team was the champion of the Russian Women's Football Championship. She played there for a short time before moving on.
Piteå IF
Francisca joined Piteå IF in Sweden in 2013. She scored her first goal for them in May 2013. She played 34 games and scored 4 goals for the Swedish team between 2013 and 2015.
Washington Spirit
After Sweden, Francisca moved to the United States. She signed with Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League. In her first year (2015), she scored three goals and helped her team with two assists.
In 2016, she scored two more goals. One of her most exciting goals was in the NWSL Semifinal. She scored in extra time, which sent her team to their first-ever NWSL Championship! In 2017, she had a knee injury. Even with the injury, she played 14 games and scored 4 goals.
Loan to Sydney FC
In December 2016, Francisca went on loan to Sydney FC in Australia. This made her the first African player to play in the Australian W-League. She played six games and scored one goal, helping Sydney finish third in the league.
Loan to Atlético Madrid
On October 20, 2017, Francisca joined Atlético Madrid in Spain. This was a six-month loan from Washington Spirit. She played her first game for them in November 2017.
Move to Shanghai WFC
Later, Francisca moved to China. She signed a one-year deal with Shanghai WFC.
Levante UD
In April 2021, Francisca signed with Levante UD in Spain. She hoped to help them qualify for the Champions League. She made her first appearance for Levante in May 2021, coming on as a substitute in a 3–2 win.
International Career
Francisca Ordega has played for the Nigeria women's national football team at all levels. She played in the 2010 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup for the under-17 team. She also played in the 2012 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup for the under-20 team.
For the senior national team, she played in the FIFA Women's World Cup in 2011, 2015, and 2019. In the 2015 World Cup, she scored Nigeria's first goal against Sweden. That exciting game ended in a 3–3 draw.
She was also part of Nigeria's teams that won the African Women's Championship in 2010 and 2014. In 2018, she helped Nigeria win the 2018 Africa Women Cup of Nations in Ghana. She scored two goals and had two assists in that tournament. She was even named "Woman of the Match" in the final game!
In February 2021, she was part of the Super Falcons team that won the 2021 Turkish Women's Cup. This made them the first African team to win this special tournament. In June 2023, she was chosen to be part of Nigeria's squad for the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023.
