Francisco Javier González de Castejón y Elío (born May 25, 1848 – died November 25, 1919) was an important Spanish lawyer and politician. He held several key roles in the Spanish government.

He served as the Minister of Justice when Maria Christina of Austria was ruling Spain. Later, during the time of Alfonso XIII, he became the Minister of Development and the Minister of the Interior. He was also the Solicitor General of Spain, which is a top legal position.

Francisco Javier González de Castejón y Elío was born in Pamplona, Spain, on May 25, 1848. He became a professor at the Complutense University of Madrid. There, he taught about laws and how societies should be organized.

He was part of two political groups: the Catholic Union [es] and the Conservative Party. These parties helped shape Spain's government.

His political journey started in 1879. He was chosen to represent Navarre in the Spanish elections. He was reelected many times until 1914. In 1915, he became a senator for life. This meant he would serve in the Senate, a part of the government, for the rest of his life.
