Rachel Frances Shaw (born 1982) is an American actress, writer, and director. She is well-known for playing Bridgette Bird in the Showtime series S.... This show was based on a short film she wrote, directed, and starred in back in 2015.
Shaw also played Mary Jo Cacciatore on the 2010–2011 Spike TV series Blue Mountain State. She had a recurring role as Shayla Nico in the first season of the USA Network television series Mr. Robot.

Early Life and Education
Shaw was born in South Boston, Massachusetts. She also grew up in Brookline, Massachusetts. Her parents divorced when she was four years old. She was raised by her single mother and lived with an older half-brother.

In 2016, Shaw returned to the Sundance Film Festival with another short film she wrote and directed. It was a dark comedy called Too Legit. This film starred Zoë Kravitz and Teresa Palmer.
In 2017, Shaw had a supporting role in the movie Stronger. This film was about Jeff Bauman, a survivor of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing. Shaw played Gail Hurley in the movie.
