Franchell "Frenchie" Davis (born May 7, 1979) is an American singer and actress. She is known for her powerful voice. Frenchie has performed on Broadway and appeared on popular TV singing shows. She sings soul, dance, and pop music.

Frenchie Davis was born in Washington, D.C. She grew up in Los Angeles, California. In 2014, she earned a degree in Fine Arts from Howard University.
Her performing career started in 2000. She acted in musicals like Little Shop of Horrors and Jesus Christ Superstar. These shows were with the Freilichtspiele Theatre Company in Schwabisch Hall, Germany.
Her Time on The Voice
In 2011, Frenchie Davis was a contestant on the first season of The Voice. This is a reality TV singing competition.
In her first performance, she sang "I Kissed a Girl" by Katy Perry. She joined Christina Aguilera's team of singers.
Later, Frenchie competed against another singer, Tarralyn Ramsey. They both sang "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" by Beyoncé. Frenchie won this round and moved forward.
She performed "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta and Kelly Rowland. The judges praised her voice. They said she might have the strongest voice in the competition.
