Gabrielle Anwar (born on February 4, 1970) is a talented actress from both Britain and America. She is well-known for her roles in many TV shows and movies. You might recognize her as Sam Black in Press Gang or as Fiona Glenanne in the TV series Burn Notice. She also played Lady Tremaine in Once Upon a Time.
Gabrielle Anwar is also famous for her movie roles. She danced the tango with Al Pacino in the 1992 film Scent of a Woman. She also starred in Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken (1991) and The Three Musketeers (1993).

Gabrielle Anwar was born in Laleham, Surrey, a town west of London, England. Her mother, Shirley Hills, was an actress. Her father, Tariq Anwar, worked as a film producer and editor.
Gabrielle went to Laleham C of E Primary and Middle School. Even when she was young, she showed a love for acting. She later studied drama and dance at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts in London. This is a famous school for performing arts.
Her Acting Career
Gabrielle Anwar started her acting journey in 1986. Her first role was in a British TV miniseries called Hideaway. She also appeared in a music video for Paul McCartney's song "Pretty Little Head". Her first movie was Manifesto in 1988.
Early Roles and Moving to Hollywood
After her first movie, Gabrielle acted in more British TV shows. These included First Born and Press Gang. While working in London, she met American actor Craig Sheffer. She then moved to Hollywood with him. Gabrielle and Craig have worked together in several American films. Some of these include In Pursuit of Honor and The Grave.
Her first American film was If Looks Could Kill. In this movie, she played the daughter of a British agent. She also appeared in a music video for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.
