The Devil's Burden Stones
On Jolimont hill, you can find something very special. These are three huge rocks called Tüfelsburdi. This name means "devil's burden" in English. These rocks are actually glacial erratics. This means they were carried here by ancient glaciers. Glaciers are like giant rivers of ice. They picked up these huge stones and dropped them when the ice melted. The Tüfelsburdi stones are very large. They have a volume of about 400 cubic meters. It's amazing to think how they got there!
