Cressier is a small town, also called a municipality, in Switzerland. It is located in the canton of Neuchâtel.

History of Cressier
Cressier was first written about in the year 1180. Back then, it was known as Crisciaco.
Geography of Cressier
Cressier covers an area of about 8.6 square kilometers (3.3 square miles). A big part of this land, about 54.6%, is covered by forests. Another 28.1% is used for farming, growing crops or raising animals.
About 16% of the land has buildings and roads. A small part, 1.2%, is made up of rivers or lakes. The rest is land that can't be used for much.
Cressier is located at the bottom of the Jura Mountains. It is also close to the Thielle river. The town includes the main village of Cressier and a smaller area called Frochaux.
Cressier's Coat of Arms
Every town has a special symbol called a coat of arms. Cressier's coat of arms is split into two parts. The top part is gold. It has a red stripe with three silver V-shapes on it. The bottom part is blue and has a silver letter "C" on it.
