The Game Farm Marsh Wildlife Management Area is a special natural area in New Kent County, Virginia. It covers about 429 acres, which is a huge space for nature to thrive! You can only reach this amazing place by boat. Much of the area is a bald cypress swamp. The water here is dark because of natural plant materials called tannins. It's also full of plants growing underwater and covered by tiny duck weed plants during warmer months. Two small creeks let boats go deeper into the marsh.
