Welcome to General Bernardino Caballero, often just called Caballero! It's a town and a district in the Paraguarí Department of Paraguay. This place is named after Bernardino Caballero, who was the President of Paraguay from 1881 to 1886.
Where is Caballero Located?
Caballero is found in the northwest part of the Paraguarí Department. It's about 101 kilometers (around 63 miles) away from Asunción, which is the capital city of Paraguay. The town is also about 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) from the city of Paraguarí.
To visit Caballero, you would first take National Route 1 towards Paraguarí. From there, you can take a turn-off that leads directly to General Bernardino Caballero.
