College Basketball Journey
Gerald Robinson played college basketball for two different universities. He started his college career at Tennessee State University. He played for the Tennessee State Tigers from 2007 to 2009.
After that, Robinson went to the University of Georgia. He joined the school's men's team, the Georgia Bulldogs. He played with the Bulldogs from 2010 to 2012.
Professional Basketball Career
Gerald Robinson began his professional basketball career in 2012. He has played for many teams around the world.
Early Professional Years
Robinson started his pro journey in Belgium. He played for the Leuven Bears during the 2012-2013 season.
In July 2013, he joined the Memphis Grizzlies for the 2013 NBA Summer League. This is a special event where teams look at new players. Later in August 2013, he signed a one-year deal with Hapoel Gilboa Galil in Israel.
On August 25, 2014, Robinson signed with BK VEF Rīga. This is a strong team from Latvia.
Playing in France and Germany

On September 3, 2021, he signed with Niners Chemnitz in Germany. In November 2021, Robinson moved back to Italy. He joined Dinamo Sassari, playing in both the Italian League and the Basketball Champions League. He played with Dinamo Sassari until 2023.
From 2023 to 2024, he played for Scafati Basket in Italy. Since 2024, he has been playing for Rinascita Basket Rimini.
