Ghōr (Pashto: غور, Persian: غور), also spelled Ghowr or Ghur, is one of the 34 provinces in Afghanistan. It is located in the central part of the country, towards the northwest. The capital city of Ghor is called Firuzkoh.
Around 700,296 people live in Ghor Province as of 2015. The main languages spoken here are Dari Persian and Pashto.
