Giles Jackson was born on December 11, 2001. He is an exciting American football player. Giles plays as a wide receiver and kick returner. He currently plays for the Washington Huskies team. This team is part of the Big Ten Conference. Before joining the Huskies, Giles played for the Michigan Wolverines for two seasons.

Giles Jackson's Early Life
Giles Jackson grew up in Antioch, California. He went to Freedom High School. In 2017, when he was a junior, he was amazing on the field. He ran for 1,586 yards and scored 22 touchdowns. He also caught 21 passes for 324 yards and five touchdowns.
In September 2018, Giles decided to play for the University of Michigan. He had a fantastic senior year in high school. He caught 63 passes for 1,254 yards and 13 touchdowns. He also ran for 207 yards and even returned a punt for a 65-yard touchdown!

Freshman Year Success
In 2019, Giles was a 17-year-old freshman at Michigan. He played as a wide receiver and kick returner. He played in all 13 games that season. Giles made history by becoming only the second freshman at Michigan to score touchdowns in three ways. He scored on a kick return, a pass reception, and a rushing play.
In the 2020 Citrus Bowl, he caught four passes for 57 yards against Alabama. One of his catches was a long 40-yard play!
Giles was also great at special teams. He returned 24 kickoffs for a total of 622 yards. This means he averaged 25.9 yards per return. He even had a 97-yard touchdown return against Maryland. This happened right at the start of the game! His coach, Jim Harbaugh, said Giles was "crazy fast" and "super talented."
Sophomore Season and Jersey Number Change
During his freshman year in 2019, Giles wore jersey number 15. In February 2020, the NCAA allowed players to wear jersey number 0. Giles asked for this number and got it! He became the first Michigan football player ever to wear the number 0.
In 2020, Giles was expected to play an even bigger role. On November 21, 2020, Michigan played Rutgers. Giles returned the opening kickoff of the second half for a 94-yard touchdown! He also helped his team win in triple overtime. He caused a penalty that led to the game-winning touchdown.
Giles finished his sophomore season with 15 catches for 167 yards. He also returned 18 kickoffs for 399 yards and one touchdown. On March 29, 2021, Giles announced he would be leaving Michigan. He decided to transfer to another university.
