Giuseppe Bausilio (born June 20, 1997) is a talented Swiss actor, dancer, and singer. He is famous for his amazing performances in theater shows. You might know him as "Billy" in the Billy Elliot the Musical on Broadway, or as "Race" and "Davey" in Newsies the Musical. Giuseppe also played Alfie in the fourth season of the TV show The Next Step and Michael Fiorelli in the 2020 movie Ode to Passion.

Giuseppe's Journey in Acting and Dance
Starting Out in Switzerland
Giuseppe Bausilio began his professional career in his hometown of Bern, Switzerland. He performed in many operas and ballets at the Bern Theatre and Theater im Kafigturm. This early experience helped him become the skilled performer he is today.
Becoming Billy Elliot
Giuseppe's big break came after he placed third in a dance competition. He was invited to try out for the main role of "Billy" in Billy Elliot the Musical. He got the part in the Chicago production of the show. He shared the role with other young actors like Cesar Corrales and Tommy Batchelor.
Giuseppe performed in Chicago until October 2010. After that, he joined the National Tour of the show. He continued to play Billy, sharing the role with other talented dancers such as Michael Dameski and Lex Ishimoto.
Broadway Debut and Other Roles
In May 2011, it was announced that Giuseppe would be the next "Billy" on Broadway. He made his Broadway debut in July that year. He stayed with the show until November 2011.
Later, Giuseppe joined another popular Broadway show, Newsies, starting in October 2013. He played the character "Race." He also took on the role of Alfie in season four of the Canadian TV series The Next Step, which is a drama about dancers.
More recently, Giuseppe starred as Michael Fiorelli in the movie Ode to Passion. This independent musical film was released on Amazon Prime Video in July 2020.
