Exploring Glenbrook Creek's Path
Glenbrook Creek starts in the Blue Mountains National Park. This is about 5 kilometers (3 miles) southeast of Linden. The creek flows mostly southeast for about 17 kilometers (10.5 miles). It begins at an altitude of 300 meters (984 feet). It then drops 270 meters (886 feet) to meet the Nepean River at 30 meters (98 feet).
Glenbrook Gorge and Fun Spots
The lower part of the creek goes through a valley called "Glenbrook Gorge". This area is very popular. It has two great swimming spots: Blue Pool and Jellybean Pool. Many walking tracks follow the creek's banks. These tracks are perfect for exploring the natural beauty.
Glenbrook Creek's Name and History
Glenbrook Creek gave its name to the Glenbrook Railway Station. The railway station then gave its name to the nearby Glenbrook village. The creek flows just south of this village.
